Amazing Stars Arts Academy (ASAA), a local drama group and ZDDT partner, recently thrilled Community Action Team (CAT) members when they performed at a Citizens’ Dialogue held in Mpopoma.
The city of Bulawayo now has new councillors following the July 30 harmonised elections, which saw Zimbabweans go out in their numbers to elect new officer bearers for the next five years.
ZDDT recently organised citizens’ dialogue meetings aimed at promoting and deepening democratic values among the residents of Bulawayo.
While for some people the principle of volunteering had to be first taught and encouraged, this was not the case with a Bulawayo woman, Mariyeti Mpala.
Over 200 residents, drawn from across Bulawayo’s 29 wards, recently thronged the Small City Hall for a chamber feedback meeting organised by the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT).
