Transforming agriculture in Zimbabwe: Sustainable agriculture was the focus of a two-day farming course offered by Shandira/Sebenzela in cooperation with Foundations for Farming.

Nearly thirty Shandira/Sebenzela Community leaders from northern Zimbabwe conducted a high-class video training course in Harare at the beginning of October.

An Urban Food Security Assessment study dated January 2009 shows that 58% of the individuals in the sample survey had eaten only two meals on the day before participating in the study and another 18% had eaten only one meal that day. Only 22,6% of the sample had eaten three meals on that day.
