SMALL CITY HALL – Bulawayo’s Ward 1 Councillor, Mlandu Ncube, has hailed the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT) for coming up with a new innovative and informative programme: “Chamber Feedback” at the trust’s monthly Zone Meetings.

Mlandu, who attended the recent Expanded Zone meeting held at the Small City Hall, said the concept was a step in the right direction.

“This is an ideal programme promoting transparency and accountability and, at the same time, bridging the information gap between the city and its stakeholders,” said Ncube.

Ncube was speaking to ZDDT’s Field Coordinator, Vusumuzi Chirwa, after the meeting.

He said he was impressed by the idea of reporting back on the Full Council Meeting outcomes to different stakeholders attending ZDDT Zone Meetings.

At the beginning of the year, ZDDT introduced “Chamber Feedback” at its Zone Meetings, and these have also been embraced by the Community Action Team (CAT) members across the city.

Under the MoU with the City of Bulawayo, ZDDT is privileged to benefit from the use of council facilities to host its events.
