Mandlakhe Chairperson M Tshuma receives stamp donation from Edward Chwikwayi ZDDT Agri-extension officer.

As Mandlakhe Garden embarks on a new chapter, support from the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT) is helping to strengthen its governance and position the garden for renewed growth.

Mandlakhe Garden Chairperson, Mbonisi Tshuma, recently received an official garden stamp donated by the Zimbabwe Development Democracy Trust (ZDDT), symbolising a fresh start as the garden embarks on a renewed lease following the successful resolution of its issues with the Bulawayo City Council.

The donation marks an important milestone in strengthening the garden's governance and administrative operations, the key foundations for the long-term success and sustainability of community development initiatives.

Receiving the stamp, Tshuma expressed appreciation for ZDDT's continued support, noting that the garden is beginning this new chapter on a positive footing. With its lease now secured, Mandlakhe Garden is focused on strengthening its operations, improving accountability and expanding agricultural activities to enhance members' livelihoods and food security.
