Creativity, culture, and powerful storytelling took centre stage as emerging theatre students delivered a performance that left a lasting impression during their training programme and the recent Sally Foundation visit.

The presentation not only showcased their developing artistic skills but also carried a meaningful message that resonated strongly with the in-house audience.

Students undergoing Level 1 training at the Geraldine Roche Arts Academy (GRAA) - a Sally Foundation initiative - delivered a captivating and culturally rich African performance that left its social investor, Mike Roche; co-founder of Sally Foundation, deeply impressed.

The vibrant presentation, filled with rhythmic drumming, expressive dance, and compelling storytelling, paid tribute to the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in celebration of Women’s Month.

Through their well-rehearsed movements and confident stage presence, the students showcased both their growing artistic talent and their appreciation of African cultural expression.

The performance, carefully crafted by the students, highlighted themes of respect, empowerment, and gratitude toward women in communities.

Mike commended the group for their creativity, dedication, and teamwork, noting that the presentation reflected the skills they have been developing in performance and storytelling.

The moving tribute not only celebrated women, but also demonstrated the remarkable progress the Level 1 students are making in theatre and stage production.
