Bulawayo, Zimbabwe: In a development that exhibits the intensity and impact of ZDDT’s interventions, Bulawayo Ward 12 Councillor, Cllr Thembeni Khoza, recently received an award in the climate change and sustainable development category for environmental care she has been conducting jointly, with her neighbourhood, Bulawayo City Council and ZDDT.

Zimbabwe can only be incredibly proud of this school which offers hard-of-hearing children a 7:1 pupil to teacher ratio. It also shows up Zimbabwe as being unique in the implementation of a national sign language syllabus. BUT - the school is old and needs supporters to step up to ensure it survives in its current form. Please read on...
