The Worringham-based Inthuthuko (progress) Garden, located on the eastern fringes of peri-urban Bulawayo, recently sent its newly elected committee on a fact-finding mission to various ZDDT-supported market gardens situated throughout the townships with the the intention of expanding and improving their own operations.

They toured Hlanganani, Greenfield, and Sizinda gardens, where they had the opportunity to meet with the respective committees and exchange valuable insights into effective leadership and project management.

Mr. Graham, the chairman of Inthuthuko Garden, expressed his admiration for the work being done in the gardens visited and mentioned that he and his committee have learned a great deal from the experience.

Impressed by the successes they observed, he emphasized that it is their duty to emulate and implement these practices in their own garden to further enhance its growth and positive impact within their community.

This visit instilled a sense of determination and motivation in the Inthuthuko Garden committee to strive for excellence and make a positive difference in Worringham.
