Zimbabwean Councillors in leadership excercise

Bulawayo - Leaders and prospective leaders from around southern Zimbabwe, gathered in Bulawayo to attend a four day workshop and training programme funded by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

12 delegates from as far afield as Beit Bridge participated enthusiastically, motivated by the Trainer, Trevor Maisiri from the African Reform Institute, based in Harare.

The subject matter focused on a changing the mindset of community leaders to embrace democratic leadership values.

In addition, participants would be imparted with skills to enable them to multiply their knowledge in their communities within the process of national reconstruction.
