Written by Ntando Sibanda, ZDDT News Correspondent Wednesday, 14 December 2011 15:34
Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. ZDDT recently held an Effective Project Management Workshop, at its head offices, for its new staff members, Provincial Development Officer, Mrs Jasmine Toffa, and News Correspondent, Mr Ntando Sibanda. The new staff members received a warm welcome from the Trust on 1 December 2011.
The workshop was carried out to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable the Trust to function efficiently in order to achieve its goals and objectives. These include supporting and strengthening institutions and democratic structures at community level, and enhancing the Administrative Capacity of LA’s and Councillors to deliver basic services in an accountable and transparent manner.
“I am excited to be a part of the staff because they are all being helpful and there seems to be a team spirit, which I like. It is a new experience doing community work in a formalised setting, which is in line with what I am truly passionate about. I look forward to doing my part, contributing to the success of the Trust and the programmes. Most of all, to keep the momentum of the team spirit rolling,” said the new PDO, Mrs Jasmine Toffa.
