Bulawayo Community Strategic Planning Workshop Well Received

The community teams revealed, at the end of the forum, that they were inspired by the presence of the National Development Officer, Mr. Simon Spooner, and Mrs. Angela Mason, Regional Coordinator and PR Manager. “Their contribution and live participation inspired and encouraged us both morally and spiritually,” said Moses Dube of Ward 9.

Mrs Maria Lunga, a Ward 28 CAT Chairperson, also could not contain her excitement to ZDDT News, as she stammered with joy. She left the participants in stitches, as she struggled to express her gratitude.

“I can only say God bless this team and give them more ideas and skills to mould us so as to grow the community with developmental results from this leadership moulding organization,” said Mrs. Lunga.

Brighton Banda, who could not conceal his endorsement of the CAT strategic planning forum, told ZDDT News that Mr. Spooner and his team must keep up the good work and that they must maintain their positive attitude towards the community.

Mr. Rejoice Ngwenya, who facilitated the workshop, was also applauded for his way of presenting lessons. The community leaders, who were drawn from all Bulawayo Council Wards, have been attending Sebenzela Zimbabwe people based forums, courtesy of ZDDT.

A good number of Bulawayo’s neighbourhoods has benefited from ZDDT’s forums and nutritional gardens which have addressed many social and household challenges.
