BULAWAYO –A selection of officers, who may be considered the face of the City of Bulawayo as viewed by the public, recently received training in Service Excellence, at the Small City Hall, situated at the Fife Street Municipal Office complex.
ZDDT and Bulawayo City Council install new vending shelters

BULAWAYO, ZIMBABWE – ZDDT’S Local Authority Capacity Building Programme moved up a gear recently, when the first of twenty four vending shelters was successfully erected at the Bulawayo City Council’s designated vending area in Ward One. The site is a busy pedestrian mall situated along Lobengula Street in down town Bulawayo. Councillor for the Ward, Edward Manning, supervised the shelter’s installation.

BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe – Residents from Ward One in the City Centre, led, by the neighbourhood Councillor, Edward Manning, recently held a clean-up exercise at the Lobengula Street Pedestrian Mall, an area that doubles as a vending market. In his capacity as a Ward One resident, Field Correspondent Lewis Jones (LJ) participated in the activities and later managed to speak to the Councillor (EM) about challenges that the Local Authority faces concerning littering in the area.Bulawayo councillors praise leadership workshops
