ZDDT in media cooperation initiative
Written by Lewis Jones, ZDDT Field Correspondent Friday, 26 August 2011 14:22
BULAWAYO – In an effort aimed at establishing an environment of mutual cooperation between the Trust and media players, ZDDT has recently introduced a media initiative that it hopes will assist in effectively promoting its community based work. This latest initiative consists of a one on one meeting, in relaxed conditions, at the Trust’s office with ZDDT’s Field Correspondent and select journalists from both the public and private media.
The underlying intention for this is to provide a means of augmenting the current initiative that entails a comprehensive website, established by the Trust, to promote its people centred interventions.
It is envisioned that, through such cooperation, a situation will ensue in which there would be a free exchange of relevant information for publication by participants.
Indications are that it is well received and has great potential for the future.
ZDDT's Media Programme receives financial support from our development partners.
