Pushing for social change: ZDDT partners with African Community Publishers and Development trust

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – As part of a sustained effort to bring about the restoration of local communities in Zimbabwe, ZDDT has partnered with Harare based social rights group, Africa Community Publishing and Development Trust, (ACPDT) in an information dissemination exercise.

BULAWAYO – Built in the nineteen sixties to cater for a small community, Trenance Primary School currently has a pupil enrolment of approximately five hundred, three hundred of whom are either orphaned or with a single parent.

BULAWAYO - The elaborate décor is the first thing that strikes me as I enter the tall narrow door into a large, high ceilinged room. Impressive wall paneling designed in angled pinewood stare back at me. This building once housed the offices of a well known asset management firm that spared no expense on interior decoration when they set up shop here. They have since moved to one of the City’s shiny new up-town towers.

BULAWAYO –With continued City of Bulawayo demonstrations of grass-cutting equipment, recently donated by ZDDT to support Service Delivery, the residents in the Wards are increasingly approaching the organisers with offers of assistance.
