Bulawayo's shop keepers hail ZDDTs community work

BULAWAYO – Clothing shop-keeper, George Battey, is a third generation citizen, whose parents, sixty years ago, established the business he runs. His shop fronts the Lobengula Street Pedestrian Mall, site of a busy vending area and close to the City’s main commuter terminal, down town.

BULAWAYO – Proceedings at the Burombo Feeding Scheme for vulnerable children have continued quietly, until lately when the responsible committee began receiving a flurry of enquiries about possible assistance.

 

City of Bulawayo Councillors Praise ZDDT

BULAWAYO – A speaker at the September edition of the City of Bulawayo’s Full Council Meeting rose to commend ZDDT for the sterling work it conducts in local neighbourhoods and the support for Councillors and the City’s Administration. The Mayor, Cllr. P. T. Moyo, Ward 25, gave his seal of approval by seconding the motion and paying his own special tribute to the Trust.
 

ZDDT Appeal: Assisting the vulnerable children of Gweru

GWERU, Zimbabwe – Faith based organisation, The Alois Haene Memorial Centre (AHMC), situated in Gweru’s CBD, was established and is run by the Roman Catholic religious congregation, Sisters of the Child Jesus. The Centre bears the name of a former Bishop of Gweru Diocese, who incidentally is also founder of the Congregation that administers AHMC.
