Why choose ‘Development Democracy’?

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

By definition, Development Democracy links a fully-fledged democracy with wealth creation and prosperity.

Through attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, freedom of expression and dignity, it will inspire communities to progressively replace a culture of patronage with a culture of accountability, a culture of aid with a culture of trade.

Attitudes of shame and victim-hood will be replaced with pride and empowerment. Accountability is the hallmark of a successful democracy and, by interpretation, accepts the equality of others. This doctrine is the basis for development.
