'Nurturing quality leadership in the communities' - Leadership training continues

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe: Following-up is one of the key factors that ensure the success of developmental programmes.

In pursuit of fulfilling this endeavour, ZDDT, with the assistance of a donor partner, recently held a Life Skills and Social Values Workshop for Community Action Team (CAT) Leaders in Njube High Density Suburb in Bulawayo.

The workshop, which was facilitated by Mr Davies Ncube, is a follow up to training on Conflict and People Management, which was held in August last.

In response, CAT Leaders, hailed the training, saying it will go a long way in promoting and nurturing quality leadership in the communities.

This result will be in tandem with the Trust’s objective of building Servant Leadership, which will pave way for sustainable and progressive democratic processes.

"The workshop is going on well. It is enlightening improving widely the scope of thinking, especially on the issue of dealing with challenges in our areas. We have learnt about taking responsibility and the proper approach to solving problems," said Ward 28 CAT leader, Vusa Charles.
