Bulawayo Community Action Teams Receive Training in Conflict and People Management

BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe – Neighbourhood leaders, represented by Community Action Team members from the City’s twenty nine Wards, recently had the opportunity to sample the remarkable skills of trainer Davies Ncube in a workshop held at Njube Lutheran Church Youth Centre.

The objective of the training was to arm community leaders with necessary tools for the effective management of conflict situations in everyday circumstances found among local communities.

According to Mr. Ncube, attendees were also taught the importance of role definition to match the duty.

The training is part of the Trust’s SEBENZELA/Work for … Programme and is designed to promote harmonious people relations in local communities through effective grass-roots leadership.
