More accolades for ZDDT

BULAWAYO - The Trust was invited to an important civic function in which it came up for commendation once again.
The event entitled “Service Delivery Conference,” was organised by the Bulawayo Progressive Residents’ Association and held recently at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre. Speakers at the occasion came from various stakeholder service providers such as The City of Bulawayo, Tel-One, the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority, and the Police.
During the segment dealing with delivery of services by the Local Authority, Bulawayo’s Mayor, speaking on smart partnerships, singled out ZDDT for praise. He made reference to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two entities and pointed out various activities that the Trust is conducting with Council as a consequence.
In this respect the Trust’s interventions are aimed at encouraging the City to optimise living standards among residents through improved service delivery by enhanced revenue collection and resource management.
Development partner GIZ, funds these activities, in association with the German Government.
